“888 Love and the Divine Burden of Numbers PDF” by Abraham Chang is a coming of age debut featuring Young, a Chinese American guy living in 1990s New York City. He’s really into finding meaning in numbers.

“888 Love and the Divine Burden of Numbers” talks about how sometimes we like to believe that everything happens for a reason, but do we really know what’s ahead of us? All we can be sure of is ourselves. Hope and faith are important, but they’re nothing without action!

I am so excited about this book! It reminded me a lot of Scott Pilgrim, especially with the character Erena who has a similar vibe to Ramona (but thankfully, she’s not underage!).

The main character, Young, has to deal with his past relationships, which felt like a big part of the story, but it’s more than just a romance. It’s a deep dive into the Chinese American experience, pop culture, struggling with OCD, and the confusion of being in your 20s and in love without knowing where life is headed.

I loved it! It’s not just a love story; it’s about a person’s journey.

This book is a real winner, 888 out of 10!
