Meet Eleanor Dash<\/strong>, a bestselling author eager to bring closure to the book series that catapulted her to fame. However, her mistake lies in basing her protagonist on Connor Smith, a man she’s desperate to erase from her life. Connor has been capitalizing on his fictional counterpart’s success, causing Eleanor no end of grief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Eleanor devises plans to eliminate the literary version of Connor, it appears someone else might be plotting his real-life demise. During a press tour across Italy, a shot is fired at Connor, prompting suspicion among their eclectic group of traveling companions. But does Eleanor truly want to thwart Connor’s fate?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Every Time I Go on Vacation, Someone Dies” is not only a treat for cozy mystery enthusiasts but also for book lovers, given its protagonist’s profession. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set against the backdrop of Italy, it’s a delight for travel enthusiasts as well. While the characters possess the familiar quirks typical of cozy mysteries, the narrative offers plenty of unexpected twists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While I wished for a deeper exploration of the characters, I ultimately rated this book three and a half stars and eagerly anticipate returning to the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
