However, despite my high hopes, I struggled to connect with the book. When I pick up a novel, I want to feel immersed, not just read the pages. Unfortunately, I found a complete disconnect with both the characters and the storyline, as if I was standing on the outside looking in. The tension and suspense the author intended to convey didn\u2019t resonate with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Having loved Grant&#8217;s previous book, <strong>&#8220;These Silent Woods PDF,&#8221;<\/strong> I&#8217;m not giving up on her work and will definitely try another of her books in the future. There are plenty of positive five-star reviews for <strong>&#8220;The Nature of Disappearing,&#8221; <\/strong>so be sure to take a look at those!
