Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah hails from Spring Valley, New York and holds a degree from SUNY Albany, as well as an MFA from Syracuse University. He was the Olive B. O’Connor fellow in fiction at Colgate University for the ’16-’17 academic year. Adjei-Brenyah’s work has been featured in publications such as Guernica, Compose, Printer’s Row, Gravel, and The Breakwater Review, where he was selected as the winner of the 2nd Annual Fiction Contest by ZZ Packer. His debut book, Friday Black, was published in 2018.
