Rajasthan Government Announces 19 New Districts
The Rajasthan Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot, has recently announced the formation of 19 new districts in the state. This decision was a long-standing demand from the citizens of Rajasthan and the delimitation process has already begun. In addition to the new districts, the Rajasthan Government has also announced the formation of new revenue divisions, known as Rajasthan New Sambhag 2023. These divisions will help in the better administration of the state and the provision of public services to the citizens. However, further details regarding the Rajasthan New Sambhag 2023 are yet to be announced by the government.
New Districts in Rajasthan 2023 (Updated)
The new districts that have been added are Anupgarh, Balotra, Beawar, Deeg Didwana, Kuchaman City, Dudu, Gangapur City, Jaipur North, Jaipur South, Jodhpur West, Kekdi, Kotputli, Khairthal, Neemkathana, Phalodi, Salumbar, Sanchore, Shahpura, and Bhilwara. These districts will have their own administration and separate judicial courts.
Reasons for Addition
The decision to add these new districts was made after considering the long-pending demands of the citizens and the population of the newly created districts. The addition of these districts will make it easier for citizens to access administrative services and reduce the need to travel long distances to reach district headquarters.
